Mr. Scheys graduated in law from the University of Leuven in 2002 and started her career as a lawyer at the Hasselt Bar (Limburg) in the same year.
As a lawyer, mr. Scheys specializes in individual and collective labour law, with particular expertise in dismissal law.
She also has extensive experience in disputes with the National Social Security Office and the National Employment Office, civil service law and independent forms of cooperation (commercial agency, management and service agreements).
Mr. Scheys focuses strongly on the prevention and settlement of disputes, but also assists her clients in legal proceedings.
She regularly gives training courses on subjects in her field and is a member of the Antwerp Employment Law Association and various network organizations.
