Veerle Scheys
As a lawyer, Mrs. Scheys has dedicated her attention to individual and collective labour law, particularly specialising in dismissal law (including protected employees).
Furthermore, she has all-encompassing experience in disputes with the NSSO (National Social Security Office) and the NEO (National Employment Office), and independent forms of cooperation such as commercial agency, management and service level agreements. She further developed her knowledge in the field of a variety of issues surrounding occupational disability and is a zealous editor of employment conditions and all sorts of policies.
Mrs. Scheys prioritises the prevention and amicable settlements of disputes, and she also provides her clients with proper assistance during legal procedures.
She regularly organises training sessions about subjects in her field and is a member of the Association for Labour Law (Antwerp) and multiple network organisations.
Mr. Scheys obtained her law degree with distinction from KU Leuven in 2002 and started her career as a lawyer at the bar that same year.
