Steven Vandebroek
In his law-practising career, Mr. Vandebroek has dedicated himself to social criminal law with a particular interest in industries that are prone to fraud. He assists entrepreneurs during social inspection audits. Furthermore, his preferred areas of practice are individual and collective labour law. Mr. Vandebroek often appears in legal proceedings, mainly in labour courts and labour tribunals, correctional tribunals and courts of appeal. He is regularly appointed ad hoc mandatary by the courts in Limburg.
Mr. Vandebroek is a member of the Association for Labour Law (Antwerp). He frequently speaks and publishes on topics in his field of expertise.
Mr. Vandebroek graduated from the KU Leuven in 2003 to then take a complementary course ‘Diplôme d’études spécialisées en droit social’ [TN: Specialised Degree in Labour Law] at the ULB in 2004, before joining the Bar.
He also holds the certificate ‘Bijzondere opleiding cassatieprocedure in strafzaken’ [TN: Special training in cassation procedure in criminal cases] and ‘Supralat – Salduz training’.
