Roy Melis

After a brief stint in the banking sector, Mr. Melis has been working as a lawyer at Mploy since 2017. He specializes in individual and collective employment law and has developed a particular affinity for (supplementary) pensions, disputes with the National Social Security Office (RSZ), and inspections by social inspection services. He also has extensive experience with social law issues in the construction sector.

In 2019, he was a laureate of the Antwerp Bar Association's Turnhout branch pleading competition and a finalist of the Knight René Victor pleading competition.
Mr. Melis obtained his Master of Law degree with distinction from KU Leuven in 2016. In the 2019-2020 academic year, he also obtained his certificate in "Special Course in Pension Law" with distinction from KU Leuven, Faculty of Law.
In addition to his activities as a lawyer, Mr. Melis is also a director of the non-profit organization De Kringwinkel Zuiderkempen.
