Jurgen Goyvaerts
Mr. Goyvaerts is a versatile social law lawyer with 29 years of experience as a lawyer. His clientele consists primarily of businesses and organizations, including several large educational institutions and government agencies. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Mr. Goyvaerts was a part-time guest lecturer in International Social Law at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of KU Leuven for nine years, a guest lecturer in the Pension Law Program at KU Leuven, and a volunteer at the Institute for Labor Law. He contributes annually to the training on discrimination in employment relationships for magistrates and is the author of several publications.
Mr. Jurgen Goyvaerts earned his law degree from KU Leuven and the Université Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He subsequently obtained the GGS Social Law program with distinction from the VUB (Free University of Brussels) and a certificate in Pension Law from KU Leuven. Between 2010 and 2025, Mr. Goyvaerts was a partner at a multi-agency firm in Leuven, where he led a team of three lawyers specializing in employment law. Effective January 1, 2026, he will join Mploy, convinced of the added value of a niche firm. By surrounding himself with more employment law specialists, he will have additional capacity to serve his clientele even better.
