Mr. Renette is a partner. He graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven in 1996, and successfully finished the additional course “Etudes spécialisées en droit social” at the University of Brussels in 1997. His offices are in Hasselt.
In his past 20 years of practicing law, mr. Renette has developed a special affinity toward the challenges in social law construction companies have to face nowadays (such as bogus self-employed persons, labour accidents, employment of foreign employees).
Besides his activity as a lawyer, mr. Renette also used to be a research assistant at the Catholic University of Leuven and the University of Hasselt.
Mr. Renette is also a substitute judge at the labour tribunal Antwerp, section Hasselt.
He is often asked to talk on seminars an regularly publishes on social law topics.
Together with Hans Van Rompaey, he is author of the book “De inning en invordering van sociale zekerheidsbijdragen door de RSZ”, published in 2017 by Larcier in the series “Bibliotheek Sociaal Recht”.
He is a regular contributor to De Juristenkrant.
