Roy Melis
After a short time working in the banking sector, Mr. Melis has been practising law at Mploy since 2017. He focuses on individual and collective labour law and has developed a special affinity for (supplementary) pensions, disputes with the NSSO and social inspections. Besides that, he has gained a lot of experience in labour law challenges in the construction industry.
In 2019, he was a laureate in the moot court competition organised by the Bar of Antwerp, section Turnhout, and a finalist in the Ridder René Victor moot court.
Mr. Melis obtained his Master’s Law degree (cum laude) at the KU Leuven in 2016. He also received the certificate (with honours) for his study ‘Bijzondere Leergang Pensioenrecht’ [TN: Specialised course Pension Law] at the KU Leuven, Law Faculty.
In addition to his activities as a lawyer, Mr. Melis is also a director of the non-profit organization De Kringwinkel Zuiderkempen.
